CapaCare, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Sanitation and UNFPA, is organizing a training module for selected Medical Doctors in May. Two international trainers will be teaching an Advanced Emergency Obstetric Module. The course takes place at Masanga Hospital from the 21st of May till the 1st of June. The curriculum is based on the Harmonized EmONC guideline, in addition it will focus on the indications, techniques and care of Ceasarian Sections. CapaCare´s aim is to strenghthen the Obstetrical and Surgical care in district hospitals. MDs that are currently working, or plan to work in district gpoverment hospitals will be given priority. Selection will be done in close collaboration with the relevant stakeholders from the MoHS and the Obstetric department in Sierra Leone. Se the attached advert for more information.
