Fundraising for a new vehicle
Supporting safe surgical training and outreach in Sierra Leone
This May, CapaCare Norway & friends are raising funds for a new all-terrain vehicle to support CapaCare’s training programme in Sierra Leone. The campaign will conclude on Saturday 30 May, when the team takes part in Trondheimstafetten to run together for the cause.
A reliable vehicle is essential for transporting trainers and staff, carrying out supervision visits, bringing students to placements, and reaching healthcare facilities in remote areas. Many of these journeys take place on challenging roads, but they are crucial to ensuring that healthcare workers can continue to serve populations with limited access to safe surgical care.
