Graduation of 52 BSc Clinical Officers from the School of Clinical Sciences in Makeni.
These Clinical Officers mark the first group to graduate since CapaCare, together with German Doctors and Partners in Health, in 2021 signed a Memorandum of Understanding to support the school with Advanced Training tracks.
Each graduate completed specialist training in one of the following areas:
โข Surgery & Obstetrics - CapaCare
โข Paediatrics - German Doctors
โข Internal Medicine - Partners In Health
The Surgical Assistant Clinical Officers (SACOs) will be registered with the Sierra Leone Medical and Dental Council and formally took their professional oath during the swearing-in ceremony.
It was a day of great celebration for the graduates, their family and friends after a lot of hard work and dedication.
