Amarah Conteh

Alongside Emmanuel Tommy, Amarah Conteh was one of the first two students to enroll in CapaCares surgical training program. The teaching of surgical skills to others than doctors was controversial, but their performance and good example gave recognition to the program and helped pave the way for the ones that followed. Ammara is currently posted back at Masanga hospital where he sat down with videographer Ole Bakke and shared some of his experiences.
