When did you stay at Masanga?
October/November 2011 and March/April 2014

What was your motivation for going to Masanga?
I have been working in undeveloped countries before and I wanted to do more work like this. I liked the project in Masanga, and when I got  the opportunity to go, I took the challenge.

What was your first meeting with Masanga like?
My first meeting with Masanga was very hot, but very nice.
I was lucky to go to Masanga the first time with Dr. Ingrid Høie, she had been there before, and everyone welcomed her back. Because of that, I felt very welcome to.

What was your main duties while at the hospital?
My main duties in Masanga was to teach the STP’s and people working at the hospital in hygiene, and help with things they wanted help fore.

What have you learned from this experience?
I have learned a little bit of Sierra Leone and it’s history. Sierra Leone is a nice «warm «country. The STP’s program is working.

What is your advice to others that are thinking about going to Sierra Leone and Masanga?
Remember you are a guest in the country.
