I was born in 1979 april 12 in mano kuranko kuamebai krim chiefdom Bonthe district.

What is your background?
I am a community health officer and i graduated in 2007 since then i have been working in kambia  district at BEMOC facility.

Why did you want to enter the program?
Considering the high infant and maternal mortality in our country,which is leting our country down the bottom of human development index.Pregnant women die of condition which can be treated and prevented,some die before reaching the referral hospital,some due to delay from patients and relatives on one hand and on the other hand delay from the health faciliies.

What is a normal day like for you at the hospital?
The normal day is always a learning day for me,it has been good for me and is always like that throughout.

What do you like most about the program?
This programme enable STP students to improve their clinical skills and the surgical experinces.I have no surgical experience before,but with the help of this programme  i can do procedures like herniotomy, CS
